In the United Kingdom, Google is in some trouble for a case people are calling "cookiegate". "Cookiegate" was an event that broke iPhone Safari users privacy. In 2013, a civil lawsuit was filed. In the U.S. Google had to pay a $22.5 million fine to settle the case with the FTC.
