A few decades ago, Cuba cut off all interaction with the U.S. Although this happened, Cuban citizens are familiar with U.S. brands. Monday Matters #24
I agree with the article from Monday Matters #21. In the past, the United States acted as sort of a world police. Now, when the world needs us most, the U.S. is reluctant to respond. When a group is killing our citizens, why would we sit back and do nothing about it? We have to take a stand and act against ISIS.
Monday Matters #23
Both articles talk about the horrible group known as ISIS. Both articles talk about how horrible ISIS is and what horrible things ISIS has done, including setting a Jordanian pilot on fire. One article questions if President Obama will do anything or continue to watch while other countries relentlessly bomb ISIS headquarters. The article from Monday Matters #22 does not talk about Obama's reaction. Although both articles have their differences, both articles do agree that ISIS is a horrible group.
