Monday Matters #24
I agree with the article from Monday Matters #21. In the past, the United States acted as sort of a world police. Now, when the world needs us most, the U.S. is reluctant to respond. When a group is killing our citizens, why would we sit back and do nothing about it? We have to take a stand and act against ISIS.

Monday Matters #23
Both articles talk about the horrible group known as ISIS. Both articles talk about how horrible ISIS is and what horrible things ISIS has done, including setting a Jordanian pilot on fire. One article questions if President Obama will do anything or continue to watch while other countries relentlessly bomb ISIS headquarters. The article from Monday Matters #22 does not talk about Obama's reaction. Although both articles have their differences, both articles do agree that ISIS is a horrible group.

Monday Matters #22
A pilot from the country of Jordan was locked in a cage and was set on fire by ISIS. Upon the horrible acts of inhumanity ISIS has displayed, this situation may be the most brutal one yet. ISIS has filmed members of the group beheading journalists from allied countries with the United States before this has taken place. ISIS' brutality has not gone unnoticed and many people are questioning the motives of ISIS' horrible behavior. Click here to view the article from CNN.com.

Monday Matters #21
In the article, the people are questioning what it will take to get President Obama angry. ISIS burned a Jordanian pilot alive and when asked about it, President Obama looked irritated that he was asked about it. It was almost as if President Obama did not want to address the issue. Many people are asking the question, "Where's his outrage?" Click here to view the article.
